AI Autism Tools for Children

Autism Tools is a collection of simple, accessible web tools designed to help autistic children communicate, express their feelings, and manage everyday challenges.

The tools were created by Claire with help from Thomas, who is 11. Thomas sometimes struggles to put his feelings into words. He's also an incredible product designer! He came up with tons of great improvements and has lots more ideas to help kids like him, so we're planning to add more tools soon.

All tools are free to use and require no sign-up. Start with the Calm Communicator to help children share how they feel in the moment. Calm Communicator is designed for children who are partially non-verbal (selective mutism). We'd love to know if it helps.

How Our Autism Tools Work

Our Calm Communicator uses AI to help non-verbal children express their feelings. When the child clicks an option, the AI adapts its answers so they can continue to provide more details. No personal data is sent to the AI. We only send the option they clicked.
